A peace rally organised in Ahmedabad on Tuesday successfully protested against
the killings of innocent Christians in various parts of Orissa.
Organised and leaded by the Bishops and Heads of various Christian denominations
under the banner of "Gujarat United Christian Forum for Human Rights", thousands
of Christians peacefully protested and voiced their concern over the situation
in Orissa.
The rally began at 4 pm from CNI Church Victoria Garden
and passed through Ellisbridge, Ashram Road, Nehru Bridge, Lal Darwaja and
concluded at St. Xavier's School Campus, Mirzapur.
A wonderful unity of Christians living in Ahmedabad was demonstrated on this
occasion.
